Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over 20 years. Her most famed role is for her part as a character in House which airs on Fox. After being raised by traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. She became very involved with the clubs in the city of New York, and was able to be recognized from the news media. While doing so she began to become conscious of AIDS its devastating consequences. She used both her training in music and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her job. Once it went off the show, she started appearing in TV and films beginning in roles of a short duration but then gradually becoming an actor.
