Morgan Fairchild (born PatsyAnn McClenny Feb. 3 1950) is a famous American actress. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the into the 1980s when she played roles in several television series that she displayed a glamorous appearance. Fairchild began her career in the CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. As the first actress portraying Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's soap opera for daytime Dallas in the year 1978. Later she landed a leading role in The NBC Drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress for a Television Series - for that show. Fairchild was on ABC's short premiertime soap Paper Dolls, and on the NBC soap opera Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. She serves as a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
