Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host best known as the host of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. As she grew older she had numerous arguments with her mum. Sheryl says that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father for getting too close. Sheryl was a soldier shortly after graduating from college. Her passion was comedy. She was chosen as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, that was held in the year 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by appearing as a frequently performing performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been a cohost of the Talk show. Additionally, she's appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
