Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a banker in the past. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan that included six children. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. They was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in plays. When she was 16, she quit school and pursued a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor.
